teen drivers

Just read an article posted by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), stating that teen crash/fatalities have declined since 2004.  They feel that it is due to the requirements placed on new drivers, such as limited night time driving.  I have a 15 year old who will get his license this month, so as a parent I am glad to hear this news.

  1. OMG-How timely your blog post! I just took my oldest son to his first driver's ed session tonight! I feel so old ;-) I also know that I feel much safer than when I got my license because at the end of the first day we were out driving on the roads and it only lasted 2 weeks. Times have changed and I think this time for the good.

  2. That is great to hear! I had friend who died in 2004. He was driving drunk unfortunately! After that happened, many of my guy friends started to be much more careful about this! It sad that something so horrible had to happen to get them to wise up.
